Catholic Charities of Idaho provides assistance and/or representation to individuals and families with immigration issues, such as legal status and citizenship. Consultations. Preparation and submission of specific Family Based Petitions to USCIS. Citizenship classes. Services provided to individuals who qualify under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). U-visa services to individuals who are certified victims of qualifying criminal activity.

Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc.
Idaho Legal Aid Services is a nonprofit statewide law firm dedicated to providing equal access to justice for low income people through quality advocacy and education.  The program provides free legal representation with civil legal problems such as escaping domestic violence and sexual assault, housing (including wrongful evictions, illegal foreclosures and homelessness), guardianships for abused/neglected children, legal issues facing seniors (such as Medicaid for seniors who need long term care and Social Security), and discrimination issues.  Our Indian Law Unit provides specialized services to Idaho's Native Americans.  The Migrant Farmworker Law Unit provides legal services to Idaho's migrant population.

Disability Rights Idaho (DRI) provides free legal and advocacy services to persons with disabilities. DRI receives federal grants and develops priorities annually regarding areas of service. Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program & Lawyer Referral Service
Using a statewide network of volunteer attorneys, IVLP provides free civil legal assistance through advice and consultation, brief legal services and representation in certain cases for persons living in poverty. IVLP screens applicants and connects them with legal services of volunteer attorneys or refers them to other relevant community resources. Volunteer attorneys provide assistance in cases involving custody (initial orders and modifications) divorce (limited), guardianship (children or adults), adoption, debt defense (limited) and wills (non-property matters only). IVLP attorneys also provide services to qualified non-profit organizations. Cases involving domestic violence and/or child endangerment have priority for referral to volunteer attorneys.
